Poker bonus chasing was once a very lucrative way to approach online poker. Most sites offered first deposit and frequent reload bonuses that cleared very quickly, allowing the chaser to move to another online poker site and chase another bonus. Life was good.
Unfortunately things have tightened up quite a bit. Through natural selection and the UIGEA, there are fewer new online poker players every month than there were in the past. Rakeback is a must. Poker sites have become less generous with their bonus offers. It's become much more difficult to move money around. The environment is less conducive to poker bonus chasing than it once was.
Less conducive - not impossible.
Poker Bonus Chasing is still possible
Most of the best bonuses now being offered are being offered by the new and small poker sites. They are hungry for your business and will offer some decent bonuses to get it. The trade-off is that you'll have to play NL holdem to clear it - there's just not going to be any consistent traffic at lthe limit tables. On the bright side, the quality of play at these smaller sites is typically quite poor.
